Bolstered by Policies, Tesla Sales in Tianjin Hit Another Historic High
According to a 4S store manager of Tesla's general distributor in Tianjin, affected by the country's new energy vehicle subsidy policies, Tesla's sales in Tianjin hit another historic high in July. Among them, single-month sales of Model Y electric SUV alone exceeded 600 vehicles, and daily sales of over 100 vehicles have become the norm for other models.
Tesla China Region President Wang Juan analyzed that although the country lowered the standards for new energy passenger vehicle purchase subsidies from July 1st, Tianjin, as a pioneer city for promoting electric vehicles, still retains a 20,000 yuan purchase subsidy. This has stimulated Tesla consumers' enthusiasm for early orders to a certain extent.
At the same time, Tesla is gradually rolling out residual value protection plans guaranteeing 2-3,000 yuan above comparable models. In addition, Tesla's super charging station network in North China is also improving rapidly, further unleashing consumer car purchase intentions.
It is understood that in August, Tesla will fully roll out regular maintenance and care services at the 1,000 yuan level for more in-stock models to boost sales. Tesla is also accelerating the commissioning of the second generation of super charging stations in Tianjin to meet the growing charging demand.
